Questions investors ask

How does Built2Buy defend against a Shopify app bundle that adds wholesale features?
Wholesale logic is not a plugin — it is a data model. Shopify's core object model is product → cart → checkout for a single buyer type. Our platform is built ground-up around dealer relationships, tiered pricing matrices, territory rules, and multi-stakeholder portals. A Shopify app can simulate one or two of those features; it cannot replicate the integrated data model without rewriting Shopify's core. We've also been running this in production for 25 years — that iteration depth is not acquirable quickly.
What does the modular pricing model look like in practice?
Customers start at $500/mo for the core wholesale portal (tiered pricing, dealer management, order processing). Each additional stakeholder module — UPS live-rate shipping, dealer-facing CMS, rep management dashboard — adds $300/mo. A typical customer activates 1–2 modules in the first 6 months, landing at ~$800–$1,100/mo. The modular structure lets us land small and expand as the customer proves ROI, which also improves retention.
